The Internet is full of great opportunities for kids: providing education, entertainment & communication. While the advantages are many, parents have to be aware and responsible for making sure the Internet experience is both safe and wholesome.
There are several factors to consider when allowing your children to spend time on the Internet. Be sure they view only age-appropriate sites. Also, discuss the dangers of exchanging personal information with strangers, and make sure they are not viewing inappropriate material.
Be sure your children are not spending too much time in cyberspace. While computers can be used as a great learning tool, you will want to make sure that they maintain a good balance of activities.
